MACHINIST

Close tolerance parts are necessary for all engineering applications. As such, the requirement
calls for skilled machinist with knowledge of modern quality systems and precise manufacturing techniques using highly sophisticated machines and tools. This course is devised in such a way that each trainee gets ample opportunity to see, learn and practice the trade with relevant theory.

The students are taught Computer Basics, AutoCAD, CAD / CAM Technology (Keller -Germany), EDM Technology, Quality Control, Basic Electronics, Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Manufacturing Process, Workshop Calculation and Engineering Drawing.

They get vast practical exposure in “Turning, Milling, Grinding, All types of Bench work, Forging, Welding, Lapping, Scraping and CNC programming and machining. They will be capable of programming, machining and manufacturing of components well within the lead time planned. This will be a well disciplined and rigorous training programme.
